The Knights of Columbus have been working for the improvement in the lives of its members and societies since 1982. Today, the Knights boast a membership of over 1.7 million members in more than 13,000 councils throughout the United States, Canada, the Philippines, Mexico, Poland, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Panama, the Bahamas, the Virgin Islands, Cuba, Guatemala, Guam and Saipan.
Father McGivney’s founding vision for the Order included establishing a life insurance program to provide for the widows and orphans of deceased members. The insurance progam has expanded substantially to serve more effectively the Knights’ growing membership.
Protecting family financial security has been part of the Knights of Columbus mission since they were founded in 1882. The Knights have grown to over $40 billion of insurance in force and received the highest ratings from A.M. Best (A++) (Superior) and Standard and Poor’s (AAA)(extremely strong).
The council’s field agent is an insurance professional and a Brother Knight. He can provide information about the Knights of Columbus Care quality insurance and annuity products, along with many other fraternal benefits offered exclusively to Knights and their families.
